PRESIDENT YAMEEN DECLARES 19TH AUGUST AS A PUBLIC HOLIDAY

President Yameen Abdul Gayoom has declared Sunday19th August as a public holiday, in the event that the 1st of Zul-Hijja falls on 12th August 2018.

The President’s decision was made in order to give maximum days for the public to enjoy Eid-al-Adha.

Following the Eid holidays, the government offices will reopen on Sunday, 26th August 2018.
