Chief Justice of the Maldives arrives in New Delhi on an official visit

The Chief Justice of the Maldives Honourable Justice Uz. Abdullah Saeed arrived in New Delhi this evening on an official bilateral visit. The Chief Justice and the accompanying delegation was received at New Delhi airport by Ambassador H.E. Ahmed Mohamed and other diplomats from the Maldives Embassy.
During this visit the Chief Justice of the Maldives will meet and hold discussions with the Chief Justice of India Honourable Mr. Justice T.S. Thakur and some of the senior most Honourable Justices from the Supreme Court of India.
In addition to the above mentioned official bilateral engagements between the Honourable Justices of the Maldives and India, the Chief Justice of the Maldives and accompanying delegation will participate in a conference organised in New Delhi to promote India as a global hub for arbitration amongst international practitioners, corporate houses and the Indian legal fraternity, titled “National Initiative towards Strengthening Arbitration and Enforcement in India”.
The delegation of the Chief Justice of the Maldives Honourable Justice Uz. Abdullah Saeed includes Honourable Justice Dr. Ahmed Abdulla Didi, and Registrar and Court Master from the Supreme Court of the Maldives Ms. Mariyam Shamma Ismail and Mr. Yasir Ahmed respectively.
