Foreign Minister Dr. Mohamed Asim to visit India as the Special Envoy of the President

Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Asim will make an official visit to India, from January 10 – 12, 2018; as the Special Envoy of the President Mr. Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.

During his visit, Minister Asim will pay a courtesy call on Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, and will also meet his counterpart Ms. Sushma Swaraj.

Minister Asim will hold discussions on strengthening the friendly relationship the two countries have always shared.

Minister Asim will be accompanied by H.E. Mr. Ahmed Sareer, Foreign Secretary and Ms. Aishath Azeema, Joint Secretary, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
