PRESIDENT APPEALS TO RENEW THE SPIRIT OF MOVING FORWARD IN UNITY

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has stated that the act of Hajj pilgrimage denotes the prominence of unity, and appealed all Maldivians to renew the spirit of moving forward as a united community. The President made the appeal in his message on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Al’haa.

In his message, the President highlighted that the spirit of Eid-ul-Al’haa was to extend kindness and share happiness among the Muslim community, and that it is an occasion that reminds us of the importance of upholding the fraternal ties that exist among the Maldivian people.

In his message, the President also extended greetings and well wishes to the Muslim community, on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Al’haa.
