Administration briefs international media on the current situation in the Maldives

At a press conference held today, representatives of the Maldives’ administration have briefed members of the international media on the current situation in the Maldives. The press conference comprised of two sessions, and was held at the President’s Office.
The Ministers’ panel representing the administration were Minister for Legal Affairs at the President’s Office, Uza. Aishath Azima Shakoor, lead representative of the Administration at the All-Party Talks, Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture Dr. Mohamed Shainee, Minister of Tourism H.E. Moosa Zameer, Minister of Economic Development H.E. Mohamed Saeed, Minister of Environment and Energy H.E. Thoriq Ibrahim, Minister of Education Dr. Aishath Shiham, Minister of Health H.E. Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim, and Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
The ministers also briefed the media on the latest developments on reconvening the all-party talks, and shared information on the administration’s policies in various economic and social sectors.
The press conference was attended by journalists from 10 news agencies.
