Ambassador of South Africa calls on Foreign Minister

The Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to the Republic of Maldives, Her Excellency Ms. Robina Patricia Marks, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Asim.

At the meeting held at the Foreign Ministry this morning, Minister Asim and Ambassador Marks exchanged ideas to further reinforce the strong bilateral ties and cooperation between Maldives and South Africa. Minister Asim and Ambassador Marks exchanged views on further enhancing the existing ties especially in the areas of trade, investment, tourism and other areas of mutual interest.

Foreign Minister Asim was accompanied by Her Excellency Ms. Fathimath Inaya, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Mr. Abdul Waris Saeed, Director at the Ministry.
