President appoints member to the Elections Commission

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has today appointed Ahmed Shareef to the Elections Commission of the Maldives.

Ahmed Shareef took the oath of office at a ceremony held this morning at the President’s Office. The oath was administered by Supreme Court Judge Hon. Uz. Adam Mohamed Abdulla.
