President meets with the first PhD graduates from the Maldives National University
President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has met with the first PhD graduates from the Maldives National University (MNU), Dr. Suneena Rasheed and Dr. Aishath Ali, this morning at the President’s Office.
Both Dr. Suneena Rasheed and Dr. Aishath Ali pursued their Doctor of Philosophy degrees in the area of education. Dr. Suneena Rasheed completed her PhD studies on a Presidential Scholarship.
During today’s meeting, the President expressed his appreciation for the continued invaluable services by Dr. Suneena Rasheed and Dr. Aishath Ali, and requested them to always uphold the Islamic values and to put the nation forward. The President also advised them never to let foreigners to intervene in our domestic affairs President Yameen further wished a prosperous future to Dr. Suneena Rasheed and Dr. Aishath Ali.
The first PhD graduates from the Maldives National University (MNU), Dr. Suneena Rasheed and Dr. Aishath Ali expressed their gratitude to the President.
At the meeting, Chancellor of the Maldives National University Dr. Mohamed Latheef assured the President of the numerous measures taken to ensure the quality of the PhD program conducted in MNU.
