PRESIDENT YAMEEN CONGRATULATES THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM ON WINNING THE SAFF SUZUKI CUP 2018

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has congratulated the Maldives’ National Football Team on winning this year’s SAFF Suzuki Cup. The Maldives beat India 2-1 in the final match played today.

During a telephone conversation with the team captain, President Yameen lauded the team’s performance today, and expressed gratitude on behalf of the Maldivian people, and on his own behalf, for making the whole nation proud.
