WHO Representative to the Maldives Dr. Arvind Mathur calls on Foreign Minister Asim

WHO Representative to the Maldives Dr. Arvind Mathur called on Foreign Minister, His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Asim today. During the meeting held this morning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mathur expressed his appreciation for the continued support WHO has received from the government of Maldives and stated that Maldives is an early achiever, referring to the similarities of Maldives’ health figures to that of a developed country. Minister Asim and Representative Mathur also discussed health sector priority areas of the Maldives. Foreign Minister Asim was joined at the meeting by the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Marium Jabyn.
