The President conveys felicitations of the New Year to foreign Heads of State and Government

On behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, and on his own behalf, President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has conveyed felicitations of the New Year to foreign Heads of State and Government.

In separate messages, the President expressed wishes for good health, success and happiness and further progress and prosperity to the people of each country.

The President further conveyed New Year felicitations to the heads of multilateral organizations, including the various bodies of United Nations, SAARC, World Trade Organization, International Monetary Fund and the Asian Development Bank.

A number of foreign Heads of State and Government have also extended greetings of the New Year to President Yameen and the people of the Maldives.
